Jamie Wahobin
I am Plains Cree from Mosquito Grizzly Bears Head Lean Man First Nation. My traditional name is Ketitakosit which means Sounds of Thunder. I was born and raised in Saskatchewan and moved to BC in 2018. I received my Environmental Technician Certificate through Vancouver Island University and I’ve been fortunate to work outdoors in this beautiful province specifically on the Gitxsan Territories
Although I still very much practice my Cree culture, I have enjoyed learning about the Gitxsan culture, language and traditions. I look forward to the continued growth and learning this position with the GLMO will bring.
