ADMINISTRATION & NEGOTIATION SKILLS:
• Provide direction, leadership and coordination to Wilp members(House group)
• Provide strategic direction to employees based on goals and objectives set by Watershed Chiefs while managing projects
• Maintain a current inventory of potential funding sources and provide negotiation of agreements for the Watershed.
• Manage and protect First Nations resources with utmost effective leadership
• Encourage and oversee First Nation recruitment, hiring and staffing within effected territories
• Ensure performance management objectives are developed and adhered to by all stakeholders/potential proponents
• Develop and maintain working relationships with governments, communities, stakeholders and all potential proponents
• Liaise with the Head Chief, government, and other agencies on behalf of the Watershed
• Provide advocacy for issues of importance within the Watershed
