Scott Muldon

My name is Scott Muldon, I’m born and raised in Gitanmaax. I am Lax Seel from the house of Luutkudziiwus. My parents are Brian Muldon and Barb Wright. I’ve gained many cultural skills in my upbringing from my parents, and so privileged to have spent lots of time with my grandparents. At a young age I was often found in my grandpa Earl Muldon’s (the late Delgamuukw) carving shop, and out on the land learning to hunt. On our visits and trips I’ve heard many stories of our ayookhl, and li’ligit, stories and memories that are apart of my daily life as well as stories to pass down to friends and family.

I’m always outdoors through every harvest season, from hunting, fishing, mushroom picking, berry picking, medicine picking and always learning new tips and tricks along the way.

I am excited to have joined the team at Gitxsan Laxyip Management Office, and to be apart of the team that builds a strong foundation for the organization, while instilling the Gitxsan values and protocols into the way information is shared to the Simgigyat and surrounding communities.
