Tyson Daniels
My name is Tyson Daniels, I belong to Wilp Gwaas Hla’am (Gitanyow) of the Lax Gibuu clan. I grew up in Gitwangak and was raised by the late Art Loring and Matilda Loring.
I was fortunate to grow up and fish with my grandfather as a young boy, then grew up continuing to learn about our culture and traditional ways which I continue to practice and teach to my children and others.
I enjoy going out and harvesting our traditional foods, medicine and walking through our amazing Lax’yip as it has everything to offer.
I am grateful to have the opportunity to join the team at GLMO, as I believe I have the knowledge and skills to fulfill my job and duties within the Lax’yip.
